Healthcare practitioners now must comply with a set of federal regulations that are part of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), which addresses your rights to privacy and handling of Protected Health Information (PHI). The protection of your health information is important to us at College Pharmacy. Please review the documents below to become familiar with how your personal health information will be used and safeguarded.
When you come into the pharmacy to pick up a prescription, you will be asked to sign a book acknowledging receipt of the College Pharmacy Notice of Privacy Practices. The delivery of your healthcare services will in no way be conditioned upon your signed acknowledgement.
